Art classes at Paper Scissors Cake are like a whirlwind of fun and learning, where kids can unleash their creativity in a safe, uplifting, and non-competitive space! Each session is a magical journey to spark a love for art and creativity, focusing on both the process and the masterpiece. Classes run in six week sessions, meeting once a week, and follow the Cherokee County school calendar. Classes run August to mid May. Kids can join any time, with fees adjusted accordingly. So, get ready to dive into the artsy adventure starting the week of August 26, 2024.
School year registration fee per family is $25 (charged when registering for 1st class). Drawing classes will be charged a one time $15 supply fee which covers a sketchbook and sketch pencils for students to keep.

Ages 2-4 year olds

Mini Makers presents a 45-minute sensory extravaganza just for tots aged from 2 to 4 years old. Dive into a world of artistic fun and sensory exploration. It’s a riot of messy play, but guess what? We handle the cleanup! Come along for this thrilling adventure with your little one, connect with other families, and have a blast!
Homeschool Art
Ages 5 -10 years old

Step right up to our homeschool art classes – the ultimate artistic adventure for artists aged 5-10. Dive into a world of creativity, experimentation, and all-around fun. Perfect for homeschooled kiddos craving a splash of social interaction, a sprinkle of new art tricks, and a dash of creative expression. We follow a SEE, THINK, CREATE, approach during our homeschool classes.

Young Creators Class

Our Young Creators class is a delightful and imaginative art class designed for children aged 4 to 6. Let’s Paint Class

Let’s paint! This class is a blast for young Picasso wannabes looking to level up their painting game. Get ready for a mix of cool techniques and loads of fun projects that will have your young artists dabbling with paint sticks, watercolors, and acrylic paints to craft stunning pieces worthy of a gallery wall. We guarantee a super fun time, but hey, we can’t promise they won’t end up with a mustache masterpiece on their face!

Let’s Draw Two Class

Our “Let’s Draw 2” class is designed for artists aged 9 to 15. The course emphasizes enhancing drawing abilities by learning techniques, composition, perspective, and drawing terminology. To maximize the benefits of this class, we suggest starting in August and attending throughout the year as it is a progressive course.
