🎨 Welcome to Art Class Magic at Paper Scissors Cake! ✂️🍰
Art classes at Paper Scissors Cake Art Studio are more than just lessons—they’re colorful adventures where creativity takes center stage! Each week, young artists step into a whirlwind of imagination, discovery, and hands-on fun, all in a safe, encouraging, and non-competitive environment.
Whether your child is a doodler, a builder, a painter, or a dreamer, our classes are designed to ignite a love for art by celebrating both the creative process and the final masterpiece.
Classes run in 6-week sessions, meeting once a week, and follow the Cherokee County school calendar. The school-year session runs from August through mid-May, and kids can hop in anytime—as long as we have an opening- tuition will be prorated based on the start date.
The fun begins the week of August 20th, 2025.
Registration & Supplies
-School year registration fee: $25 per family (charged at time of first enrollment)
-Drawing club only: A one-time $15 supply fee includes a personal sketchbook and artist-quality pencils to keep

We’re excited to share our planned session dates for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year! Each session runs for six weeks, with scheduled breaks to align with the Cherokee County school calendar.

Mini Makers Club

Get ready for a 45-minute sensory adventure designed just for toddlers and their grown-ups! Mini Makers is a joyful, messy, and magical introduction to art and creativity for ages 2 to 4. From squishy textures to colorful splashes, this class encourages little hands to explore and play—while we handle the cleanup!

Homeschool Art
Ages 5 -10 years old

Calling all curious creators and pint-sized Picassos! Our Homeschool Art class is a one-hour weekly escape into a world of imagination, experimentation, and hands-on fun—perfect for homeschoolers looking to connect, create, and explore!
Each session follows our signature SEE, THINK, CREATE approach—where students observe, reflect, and bring their own unique masterpieces to life through a wide variety of materials and techniques.
Young Creators Class
Ages 4-6 year olds

Get ready to sparkle, splatter, and create some magic! Young Creators is a joyful, hands-on art experience crafted especially for your 4 to 6-year-old budding artists. Each week, we’ll dive into colorful materials, explore big ideas, and get delightfully messy as we bring imagination to life!
From discovering famous artists to experimenting with materials, this class is all about sensory fun, and creative confidence. And yes—glitter lovers are absolutely welcome (and encouraged)!
Let’s Paint Class
Ages 6.5-10 year olds

Cost: $160 for 6 classes
Brushes up—it’s time to paint like a pro! In Let’s Paint, young artists will explore a rainbow of techniques and materials, from bold acrylics to soft watercolors and vibrant paint sticks. This class is perfect for creative kids ready to dive into color and let their imaginations run wild.
Students will walk away with eye-catching artwork and the skills to keep on creating long after class ends.
Drawn Together: A Creative Drawing Club
Ages 9-15 years old

Calling all sketchbook lovers and pencil pros! Drawn Together is a laid-back, imagination-fueled drawing club designed for older kids and teens who want to sharpen their skills, try new techniques, and most of all—have fun with art.
Each week, students will:
•Jump into quick, creative warm-ups
•Explore themed prompts to stretch their skills
•Enjoy independent or collaborative drawing time
•Share their work (only if they want to!) and cheer on others
From anime to realism, cartoons to fantasy art—there’s room for every style and skill level in this welcoming, judgment-free zone. Whether they’re building confidence or just love to draw, this club is the perfect place to get inspired and grow alongside other creative minds.

Get ready to build, invent, and create! Creative Builders is an exciting, hands-on class where art and imagination collide. Each session features a new theme or two to inspire our projects—think enchanted forests, wild inventions, tiny towns, or holiday magic!
Using a mix of materials like wood, clay, cardboard, paint, and more, kids will:
• Design original structures and sculptural masterpieces
• Problem-solve and collaborate
• Explore texture, dimension, balance, and design
This class is perfect for young artists who love to construct and create!

Welcome to Mixed Media, the ultimate creative playground for young artists! In this high-energy class, kids explore a variety of materials—like paper, clay, paint, and papier-mâché—to craft bold, imaginative masterpieces.
Each session brings new projects and a fresh opportunity to mix it up, experiment, and create something totally unique. We’ll also draw inspiration from real artists throughout the school year, sprinkling in a bit of art history and magical creating.
This class is perfect for kids who love to create with multiple medias.
Let’s Make More Mixed Media Two (Advanced)
